Purpose and Objectives

SAP and SAP Legal face an increasingly complex global environment. The Regulatory Affairs department at SAP Legal provides a coherent, consistent, and reliable approach to Cloud compliance. The Integrated Regulatory Office (IRO) is a team tasked with building a network across SAP and driving a cross‑functional, multi‑jurisdictional process for regulatory compliance affecting products, services, or internal operations at SAP.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Organizing, structuring, and managing the IRO team’s meetings, resources, trainings, and documentation
  • Structuring and leading communications about IRO’s mission, processes, and resources
Team Operations
  • Co‑develop, document, and maintain IRO regulatory processes in SharePoint
  • Organizing meetings of the IRO, its extended network, and its stakeholders
  • Manage and organize the team’s internal documentation
  • Collaborate with experts to refine and improve resources, trainings, and explanatory material
Communications
  • Create a strategy to champion IRO’s mission within internal stakeholders, including creating materials and leading trainings for internal stakeholders on IRO’s processes and resources
  • Manage communication with IRO stakeholders
  • Communicate externally about SAP’s regulatory compliance
Project Management
  • Participate in regulatory compliance projects to understand the team’s function and develop expertise in regulatory compliance, relevant laws, standards, and regulations
  • Work with related teams—Government Affairs, SGS, Corporate Legal, Data Privacy and Export Control, Field Legal, and Strategic Business Services—to create impactful trainings and resources
  • Effectively share knowledge and lessons learned with other team members
Required Skills
  • Ability to understand, break down, and organize complicated regulatory concepts
  • Focus on collaboration and networking, with the ability to connect and integrate people with all types of different skills and backgrounds
  • Talent for communicating effectively with audiences from different areas of expertise
Work Experience
  • Minimum 3 years of project management experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience communicating with internal audiences, especially across diverse team types
  • Proven experience in initiating, engaging with, and managing cross‑board area initiatives involving senior stakeholders
Education and Qualifications
  • Degree in law, business, communications, or another relevant field
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills
