AdventHealth is seeking a Radiation Therapist in Santa Fe, Argentina to evaluate imaging and ensure optimal treatment plans. You will perform quality assurance checks and assist in student education.

The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma, vocational training in Radiation Therapy, and proficiency in handling electronic health records. A sign-on bonus of $10,000 is offered, with a pay range of $31.95 – $59.42 per hour.

Job Description

• Evaluates prescribed imaging and makes requested changes within 24 hours, accurately documenting treatment information in the patient electronic record and utilizing the record and verify system.
• Reviews all new starts for consistency prior to treatment, verifying patient positioning and field orientation, and checking the record and verify system for prescription, treatment parameters, doses, treatment accessories, and monitor units.
• Performs morning Quality Assurance (QA) on the treatment unit, assessing whether all equipment is operating according to physics policy and calling the appropriate person immediately after equipment malfunctions.
• Assists in maintaining department supplies and provides supervised education experiences for students that fulfill curriculum requirements of the academic institution.
• As required by facility, participates in after‑hours on‑call coverage, maintains competency with after‑hours treatment coverage, performs 2D treatment calculations, and works with minimal direction and supervision.

Field of Study

• Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiation Therapy program

Work Experience

• 1+ radiation therapy experience [Preferred]
