Job summary

Bluelight Consulting, Llc busca un Project Manager (Desarrollo de Software) para liderar proyectos de software en un entorno remoto para América Latina. Se requiere experiencia en Agile/Scrum, gestión de alcance y presupuesto, y coordinación con proveedores y clientes.

La posición es remota, con posibilidad de interacción con equipos en EE. UU. Se valora gestión de riesgos, reportes a dirección y comunicación efectiva con clientes.

Qualifications

• 5+ años de experiencia gestionando proyectos de desarrollo de software.
• Experiencia con entregas bajo fechas límite externas (hard deadlines).
• Experiencia con registro de dependencias y escalation paths.
• Experiencia con gestión de alcance, presupuesto y recursos.
• Coordinación de dependencias de proveedores y contratos.
• Experiencia con Agile/Scrum o Kanban.
• Experiencia usando Jira, Asana u herramientas similares.
• Capacidad de traducir conceptos técnicos para clientes y ejecutivos.
• Capacidad para superponerse con horas laborales de EE. UU.
• Se requiere Licenciatura.

Responsibilities

• Gestionar proyectos de desarrollo de software de principio a fin y entregar dentro de plazos.
• Mantener planes, hitos y presupuestos actualizados para múltiples flujos de trabajo.
• Gestionar dependencias con terceros y proveedores externos.
• Comunicar estado de proyecto a stakeholders y ejecutivos.
• Identificar, mitigar y registrar riesgos y cambios de alcance.

Requirements

• 5+ years professional experience managing software development projects
• Experience delivering against fixed, immovable external deadlines (e.g., product launches, trade shows) with critical-path and buffer management
• Experience managing a client dependency register with required-by dates, owners, and escalation paths
• Experience with formal risk registers and change-control processes
• Experience managing project scope, budget, resourcing, and timelines across multiple concurrent workstreams
• Experience coordinating third-party vendor dependencies (contracts, credentials, integration timelines)
• Experience running Agile/Scrum or Kanban teams
• Experience with milestone/gate-based acceptance criteria and client-facing status reporting
• Experience with project management and tracking tools (Jira, Asana, or similar)
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience translating technical concepts for non-technical clients and executives
• Experience identifying, tracking, and mitigating project risks and dependencies
• Substantial background working with large, complex systems and distributed engineering teams
• Ability to overlap US business hours
• Bachelor's degree required

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP, CSM, or PSM certification
