Bluelight is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead software development initiatives for diverse clients. You will drive plan-driven and agile projects, manage cross-functional teams across distributed engineering groups, and ensure on-time, high-quality delivery while aligning with client expectations.

The ideal candidate excels at stakeholder communication, risk management, and coordinating vendor dependencies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience managing software development projects.
• Experience delivering against fixed deadlines with critical-path and buffer management.
• Experience managing client dependency registers with due dates, owners, escalation paths.
• Experience with formal risk registers and change-control processes.
• Experience managing scope, budget, resources, and timelines across multiple workstreams.
• Experience coordinating third-party vendor dependencies (contracts, credentials, integration timelines).
• Experience running Agile/Scrum or Kanban teams.
• Experience with milestone/gate-based acceptance criteria and client-facing status reporting.
• Experience with project management tools (Jira, Asana, or similar).
• Strong stakeholder management, including translating technical concepts for non-technical clients and executives.
• Experience identifying, tracking, and mitigating project risks and dependencies.
• Background working with large, complex systems and distributed engineering teams.
• Ability to overlap US business hours.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Extreme ownership and accountability for deliverables.

Requirements

• Experience managing a client dependency register with required-by dates, owners, and escalation paths
• Experience with formal risk registers and change-control processes
• Experience managing project scope, budget, resourcing, and timelines across multiple concurrent workstreams
• Experience coordinating third-party vendor dependencies (contracts, credentials, integration timelines)
• Experience running Agile/Scrum or Kanban teams
• Experience with milestone/gate-based acceptance criteria and client-facing status reporting
• Experience with project management and tracking tools (Jira, Asana, or similar)
