Job summary

Bluelight Consulting, Llc busca un Project Manager (Desarrollo de Software) para liderar proyectos remotos en LATAM. Se requiere experiencia en gestión de proyectos de software, entrega ante plazos fijos y coordinación con equipos distribuidos, con capacidad de solapar horas de EE. UU.

Se valoran certificaciones y enfoque en calidad de entrega. La posición es remota desde Latinoamérica, con posibilidad de trabajar con clientes en EE. UU.

Qualifications

• 5+ años de experiencia gestionando proyectos de desarrollo de software.
• Experiencia entregando a plazos externos fijos con ruta crítica y buffers.
• Gestión de dependencias de clientes con fechas, responsables y escalamiento.
• Experiencia con riesgos formales y procesos de control de cambios.
• Gestión del alcance, presupuesto, recursos y plazos en múltiples flujos.
• Coordinación de dependencias de proveedores externos.
• Con experiencia en Agile/Scrum o Kanban.
• Criterios de aceptación por hitos/puertas y reportes a clientes.
• Herramientas de PM (Jira, Asana o similares).
• Gestión de stakeholders.
• Identificación y mitigación de riesgos y dependencias.
• Antecedentes trabajando con sistemas grandes y equipos distribuidos.
• Capacidad para solapar horas de EE. UU.
• Licenciatura requerida.
• Propiedad y responsabilidad de entregables.
• Enfoque al cliente y compromiso del equipo.

Requirements

• 5+ years professional experience managing software development projects
• Experience delivering against fixed, immovable external deadlines (e.g., product launches, trade shows) with critical-path and buffer management
• Experience managing a client dependency register with required-by dates, owners, and escalation paths
• Experience with formal risk registers and change-control processes
• Experience managing project scope, budget, resourcing, and timelines across multiple concurrent workstreams
• Experience coordinating third-party vendor dependencies (contracts, credentials, integration timelines)
• Experience running Agile/Scrum or Kanban teams
• Experience with milestone/gate-based acceptance criteria and client-facing status reporting
• Experience with project management and tracking tools (Jira, Asana, or similar)
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience translating technical concepts for non-technical clients and executives
• Experience identifying, tracking, and mitigating project risks and dependencies
• Substantial background working with large, complex systems and distributed engineering teams
• Ability to overlap US business hours
• Bachelor's degree required

Preferred Qualifications
