Formación

• 15+ years of IT/software engineering or enterprise app development experience.
• Hands-on Oracle APEX development in enterprise environments.
• Advanced Oracle SQL/PL/SQL with performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• RESTful integrations using ORDS and APIs.
• Security, CI/CD, deployment automation knowledge.
• Degree in CS/IT/Engineering.

About The Role

Oracle APEX Project Lead

As an Oracle APEX Project Lead, you will make an impact by leading the architecture, delivery, modernization, and support of secure, scalable, and compliant Oracle APEX solutions supporting Life Sciences business functions, including research and development, laboratory operations, quality, clinical, manufacturing, and enterprise platforms. You will be a valued member of the technology delivery team and work collaboratively with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, scientists, quality teams, database administrators, infrastructure teams, cybersecurity professionals, and DevOps teams to deliver innovative digital solutions.

In This Role, You Will

• Lead the design, development, modernization, and support of enterprise Oracle APEX applications and related Oracle technologies.
• Drive technical leadership by establishing solution standards, reusable frameworks, engineering best practices, and code quality controls.
• Design and optimize Oracle Database solutions using SQL and PL/SQL while ensuring performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Lead integration initiatives using ORDS, REST APIs, and enterprise platforms to support critical business processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate complex business and scientific requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Oversee application security, performance tuning, release management, modernization programs, and production support activities.
• Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, technical risk assessments, and deployment readiness activities.
• Mentor developers and technical teams while supporting project planning, estimations, and successful delivery execution.

What you need to have to be considered

• 15+ years of overall IT, software engineering, or enterprise application development experience.
• Extensive hands‑on experience developing and supporting Oracle APEX applications in enterprise environments.
• Advanced expertise in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL, including performance tuning, database programming, and troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Database architecture, security, indexing, data modeling, transactions, and optimization.
• Experience designing and supporting RESTful integrations using ORDS, APIs, JSON, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Strong understanding of application security, authentication, authorization, and secure development practices.
• Experience with CI/CD processes, source control management, release management, and deployment automation.
• Proven experience leading technical teams, managing complex projects, and collaborating with senior business and technology stakeholders.
• Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

These will help you stand out

• Experience within Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, CRO, or other regulated healthcare environments.
• Knowledge of GxP, Computer System Validation (CSV), data integrity principles, change management, CAPA, and audit readiness practices.
• Experience supporting laboratory, quality, manufacturing, clinical, regulatory, or R&D business applications.
• Familiarity with platforms such as LIMS, ELN, CTMS, QMS, eTMF, ERP, or scientific informatics solutions.
• Experience integrating Oracle APEX solutions with cloud services, identity providers, analytics platforms, and enterprise middleware.
• Oracle, Cloud, Architecture, Agile, ITIL, or Life Sciences certifications.
