Monks is seeking a passionate designer to join its creative team in Buenos Aires. The role blends digital and print, requiring a meticulous eye and ownership of deliverables from concept to launch.

You will collaborate with art directors and clients, adapt assets for multiple formats, and maintain brand cohesion across campaigns. A strong portfolio and 4+ years in design are essential, with excellent English communication and a collaborative mindset.

Formación

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in digital and print production, ideally in an agency environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Art Direction, or related field.
  • Portfolio showcasing presentation design and versatility across media.
  • Strong English communication and ability to mentor juniors.

Responsabilidades

  • Collaborate with Creative and Design Directors to produce impactful visuals.
  • Finalize emails, direct mail, banners, assets and mock-ups per specifications.
  • Adhere to brand guidelines while developing new styles and proposals.
  • Translate vision and strategy into effective visuals with business leaders.
  • Adapt, retouch and scale assets for digital and print formats.
  • Design presentations for internal executives and external events.
  • Transition between digital and print production smoothly.
  • Collaborate with clients, executives, strategists and creatives to refine concepts.
  • Manage multiple projects with lead and project managers.

Join our creative team as a Designer. We're seeking a passionate and detail-oriented technical designer with a strong foundation in both digital and print design. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with art directors and clients, serving as the quality assurance expert for all deliverables, from setting the art direction for a campaign to ensuring pixel-perfect assets across various formats.

A keen eye for detail, a sense of ownership, and a commitment to producing high-quality work are essential. You should be able to adapt your design style to create visually appealing work that resonates with diverse audiences. Additionally, you should be able to seamlessly transition between print and digital design, delivering high-quality files that meet both organizational and aesthetic standards.

In this role you will:

  • Collaborate with Creative and Design Directors to produce impactful visuals.
  • Receive file and direction handoffs from Art Directors and finalize emails, direct mail packages, banners, individual image assets, and mock-ups according to agreed-upon specifications.
  • Adhere to brand guidelines while also developing new styles and creative proposals.
  • Work with business leaders to understand and translate vision and strategy into effective visuals.
  • Adapt, retouch, and scale a variety of assets for both digital and print formats.
  • Design presentations tailored to various audiences, from internal executives to large external events.
  • Seamlessly transition between digital and print production.
  • Collaborate with clients, executives, strategists, and creatives to refine rough sketches and concepts into polished, professional, launch-ready files.
  • Demonstrate strong time management skills and efficiently manage multiple projects with the support of your lead and Project Managers.

Hard Skills

  • Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proven experience working with assets at scale, adapting them for multiple formats and localizations.
  • A meticulous eye for detail and a passion for process improvement. Your files should be meticulously organized and pixel-perfect.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign.
  • Desirable: After Effects knowledge.
  • Advanced in Figma.
  • Advanced photo retouching skills.
  • Fluency in Google Workspace, including Drive, Docs, Slides, and Sheets.
  • Proven ability to mentor and manage junior team members.
  • Patience and passion for design.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Proactive and self-motivated approach.
  • Ability to iterate on designs and work efficiently under tight deadlines.
  • Humble and collaborative attitude.

Experience you already have:

  • A well-curated online portfolio showcasing exceptional presentation design skills, with additional media work to demonstrate versatility.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in digital and print production, ideally in an agency environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Art Direction, or a related field.
