DEPT® Buenos Aires seeks a talented Principal, Art Director to lead and elevate creative work. You’ll translate strategy into engaging digital content, mentor a multidisciplinary team, and partner with Copywriters, Video Editors, and Content Creators.

The role reports to the Creative Director and requires independent ideation balanced with hands-on execution. You’ll thrive in collaboration, drive high-quality output, and guide projects from kickoff to delivery, with a strong point of view on

Qualifications

• 5+ years of visual design experience across digital campaigns, social-first content, and video work.
• Agency experience with high-visibility accounts.
• On-set and content production experience with video directors, editors, producers.
• Strong client presentation and communication skills.
• Excellent design sensibility for layout, typography, motion, and branding.
• Proactive, collaborative mindset with brainstorming and mentorship.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-impact creative: concept and design social and video assets.
• Mentor and lead junior and mid-level Art Directors and Designers.
• Support pre-production planning, on-set shoots, and post-production edits.
• Partner with copywriters, strategists, producers, and clients to align with briefs.
• Own work end-to-end, delegating while ensuring final output quality.
• Solve problems, adapt to changing priorities, share daily inspiration.
• Cultivate an inclusive, high-energy team culture.
