Halter is seeking a People Partner to establish HR systems for its new operations in Argentina. You will coach managers, ensure effective onboarding, and build people processes from the ground up.
The ideal candidate has experience in HR roles, is fluent in Spanish and English, and understands the cultural nuances of the region. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to Halter's mission of enhancing agricultural productivity sustainably.
At Halter, we’re on a mission to enable farmers and graziers to run the most productive and sustainable operations. Our customers are using Halter to break free from the time-intensive constraints of conventional practices. Imagine watching 500 cattle stand up and walk calmly towards their next break – no quad bikes, no dogs, no fences. Just a group of cattle walking at their own pace. People say it looks like magic. Our customers are revolutionizing grazing with Halter. It’s changing lives and transforming an industry. People join Halter to do meaningful work. By joining us you’ll be solving challenging problems within a talented team and a culture built for high performance. Our team out-thinks, out-works and out-cares. We’re committed to delivering real change in the world – this isn’t easy, and in truth, we love that it’s hard.
You’ll partner with local leaders and the global People & Performance team to stand up the core people infrastructure for a new market – then keep raising the bar as the team scales.
Responsibilities will evolve. This is an early‑stage role – you’ll be part of making the whole thing work.
You’re a high‑judgment operator who builds trust quickly, stays calm in complexity, and brings clarity to ambiguous situations. You can challenge managers directly, handle hard conversations without flinching, and hold a high performance bar without losing fairness or care.
You know how to build from scratch. You don’t need perfect systems to get started. You notice when things are missing or unclear – and you fix them. You bring absolute ownership to the work: you don’t wait to be asked, you see what needs to happen and you make it happen.
Most importantly, you’re genuinely connected to the mission. The farmers, ranchers, and animals at the heart of Halter’s work aren’t an abstraction to you – they’re the reason the bar stays high.
The first people systems in a new market shape everything that follows. If we get this right, local hires will understand Halter’s mission and standards from day one, managers will lead with clarity, and the team will move fast without creating people, compliance, or culture debt. This role helps make that happen. You’ll be one of the people responsible for ensuring Halter’s Argentine team isn’t just hired – but built well.
Halter is committed to promoting a diverse and inclusive workplace – a place where we can each be ourselves and do the best work of our lives. Research shows that while men apply to jobs when they meet an average of 60% of the requirements, women and under‑represented groups of candidates tend to only apply when they meet every requirement. If you think you have what it takes but don’t necessarily tick every requirement on this job description, please still get in touch and apply to Halter. We’d love to chat to see if you’ll be an epic fit!
