Jan De Nul in Argentina seeks an engineer to guide dredging projects through execution, on board and on site (min 3 days/week), keeping production moving and channels open for exports. You will coordinate operations, mentor crew, ensure safety, manage logistics, and report progress in production and operations meetings.

The role requires a master's degree in engineering, a solution-driven mindset, and the ability to live and work permanently in Argentina.

Formación

• Master's degree in industrial sciences or engineering sciences (or related master's).
• Solution-oriented mindset with problem-solving skills.
• Passion for dredging solutions and field operations.

• Ability to live and work in Argentina permanently.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, supervise and coordinate the daily dredging, survey and dumping operations.
• Follow production and survey data, adjust strategy as needed, and seek improvements.
• Coordinate maintenance, repairs and bunkering to minimize downtime.
• Lead health, safety and environment, conduct toolbox talks, ensure permits and risk assessments.
• Report production daily/weekly and align plans with all stakeholders.
• Act as point of contact for client, surveyors and authorities.
• Supervise and mentor crew, manage shift handovers and rotations.
• Organise crew changes, visas, logistics with office and manage stores on board.
