ELEKS Software Engineering & Development Office in Buenos Aires is seeking a Middle Software Developer (Java) for an on-site role at our local office, with a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite, 2 days remote).

You will design, develop and maintain Java applications, use Spring Boot and Spring Cloud, ensure code quality through testing, and collaborate across cross-cultural teams on an automotive project with a Japan-based client.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience with Java
• Experience with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud
• Experience with testing (Unit, Integration, System) including test case creation/execution for Java apps
• Experience with GitLab for source control/workflows
• Strong focus on quality and cooperation in testing
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in cross-cultural environments
• Experience in enterprise-level development is a plus
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain reliable software in line with technical requirements
• Analyze requirements and independently estimate/setup tasks’ acceptance criteria
• Coordinate deadlines with the Technical Leader or Project Manager
• Apply best software development practices and coding standards to produce high-quality, performant software
• Stay up-to-date with modern technology and strive for professional certifications
• Participate as a trainer or trainee in learning programs outside the main project

ABOUT PROJECT

We’ve launched a strong relationship with a Japan-based automotive company that specializes in the design, manufacturing, and sale of vehicles.

• 4+ years of experience with Java


• Experience with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud


• Experience with testing (Unit Test, Integration Test, and System Test), including test case creation and execution for Java applications


• Experience with GitLab for source control and development workflows


• Strong focus on qualityand cooperation in testing


• Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to work effectively in cross-cultural environments
