ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Mobile Engineer to build POS application and backend features in React Native and Node.js for a major QSR platform, working within architecture established by senior engineers. You will implement TypeScript features for the POS tablet app, maintain service endpoints, and participate in code review and Agile delivery — with active use of AI-assisted development tools as part of daily work. The client has prioritized quality over speed, so strong engineering fundamentals are essential.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Build React Native + TypeScript features for the POS tablet app within established patterns;
• Implement and maintain Node.js / TypeScript service endpoints;
• Write clean, well‑tested code and take part in code review;
• Debug and resolve defects and production issues for your features;
• Participate in Agile delivery: planning, estimation, retrospectives.

MUST HAVES

• 2+ years of experience in software engineering, production delivery preferred;
• Solid React Native + TypeScript and working Node.js;
• Strong fundamentals: data structures, API design, debugging, testing;
• REST APIs and service‑based architectures; databases and persistence;
• Ability to follow established architecture and standards;
• Experience using AI‑assisted development tools (Claude, GitHub Copilot) day to day;
• Upper‑intermediate English level.

NICE TO HAVES

• AWS serverless exposure (Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS);
• Offline‑first / state‑management experience;
• Test‑driven development experience;
• QSR or retail experience.
