Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Medical Writer to deliver high-quality medical and scientific writing from planning through delivery of final drafts to internal and external clients.

The role involves collaborating with clients to enable effective communication and operational excellence, writing routine documents and supporting more complex projects while ensuring quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline or equivalent.
• 2+ years of related experience in medical writing or a similar role.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical/CRO industry is preferred.
• Experience in scientific writing is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Write and input on routine documents such as clinical study reports and study protocols.
• Assist with more complex clinical and scientific documents, including IBs, INDs, and MAAs.
• Ensure compliance with quality processes for assigned documents.
• Assist in program management activities: timelines, budgets, and forecasts.
• Represent the department at project launch and review meetings.
