TWDC Argentina S.A. (Disney Entertainment and ESPN Product & Technology) seeks a Lead Software Engineer to own the architecture of a shared player library, define APIs, and guide streaming-layer improvements. You will shape how teams build their control layouts and ensure robust playback features across products.

You will mentor engineers, establish testing standards, and drive deployment quality while partnering with QC operators to translate feedback into scalable product requirements.

Formación

• 5+ years building production-grade software.
• Strong React 18+ and TypeScript experience.
• Hands-on coding and unfamiliar codebase debugging.
• Concrete system design and interfaces thinking.
• Technical ownership and leadership in projects.
• Clear communication and mentoring abilities.
• Excellent English written and spoken.
• Experience designing or maintaining a library used by teams.
• Familiarity with GitHub, CI/CD, and containerized builds.

Responsabilidades

• Own the architecture of the shared player library and API surface.
• Lead layering work to move streaming concerns behind a clean API.
• Design hooks and data APIs for custom control layouts.
• Implement and maintain features on the QC player stack.
• Set engineering standards: tests, design reviews, responsibilities.
• Collaborate with QC operators to turn pain into requirements.
• Lead deployment quality and telemetry strategies.
• Provide technical mentorship and raise engineering bar.
• Unblock issues affecting testing and content release.
• Provide on-call support as needed.
