EPAM Systems is seeking a Lead Security Engineer to work autonomously with the client team and senior leadership. The role emphasizes hands-on security across the stack, proactive improvements, and collaboration with Engineering, IT, and Compliance to enforce strong controls.

The candidate should bring experience leading development teams, cloud security, and familiarity with frameworks like NIST, HITRUST, and CIS, plus strong communication in English.

Formación

• Minimum 5 years of relevant security work experience with leadership exposure.
• Proficient in cloud environments and secure SDLC practices.
• Experience with security automation in CI/CD pipelines and threat detection.

Responsabilidades

• Assist vulnerability management across applications and microservices.
• Guide secure authentication, authorization, and secrets management.
• Improve security automation in CI/CD to catch issues early.
• Triage alerts from security platforms and respond to incidents.
• Stay updated on threats and adapt controls accordingly.
• collaborate with Engineering, IT, Infrastructure and Compliance teams to roll out security controls.
• Develop and improve security training materials.
