EPAM Systems is seeking a Lead Python Full Stack Engineer to drive the design and delivery of scalable web applications. You will lead cross-functional teams, shape technical direction, and own full-stack implementations using Python and modern frontend frameworks such as React or Angular.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years Python experience, leadership exposure, and strong REST API knowledge, with a track record of delivering robust systems.

Formación

• 5+ years of hands-on Python development experience.
• At least 1 year of leadership experience.
• Strong backend with FastAPI/Flask/Django and frontend with React/Angular.
• Experience with REST APIs, scalable architectures, and databases.

Responsabilidades

• Lead design and development of full-stack apps using Python and modern frontend frameworks.
• Architect backend services, APIs, and integrations with a focus on scalability and resilience.
• Define standards for responsive frontend components and oversee their implementation.
• Own decisions around databases, cloud services, and deployment pipelines.
• Collaborate with product owners, designers, QA engineers, and stakeholders to shape technical direction.
• Drive technical design sessions, lead code reviews, and facilitate architecture discussions.
• Mentor and coach engineers, fostering technical growth and engineering excellence.
• Ensure long-term code quality, performance, and maintainability across projects.
• Take ownership of delivery, identify risks early, and propose effective solutions.
