Cognizant is seeking an Oracle Database Engineering Lead to shape the architecture, engineering, and reliability of critical data platforms in pharmaceutical research. You will collaborate with application architects, scientists, data engineers, and security teams to ensure scalable, secure, and highly available databases across projects.

This hybrid role requires deep Oracle expertise, hands-on leadership, and a proven track record of modernization, disaster recovery, and performance tuning.

Formación

• 15+ years of experience in database engineering, with Oracle focus.
• Experience with high-availability, backup, recovery, and DR in enterprise environments.

Responsabilidades

• Lead Oracle database architecture, engineering, and modernization initiatives.
• Design and optimize data models, schemas, indexing strategies, and performance standards.
• Drive performance, availability, resiliency, backup, recovery, and DR capabilities.
• Establish database security, governance, access management, encryption, and audits.
