Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Field Specialist II to perform on-site installation and ongoing preventive maintenance, repair and calibration of turbomachinery systems in our global field operations.

The role requires engineering or technical degree, 5+ years in turbomachinery, and strong leadership and customer-facing skills. Fluency in English and ability to work under pressure are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in turbomachinery equipment (gas, steam or heavy-duty turbines) or equivalent in compressors.
• Minimum 2 years in Baker Hughes equipment, with site operation, commissioning and start-up experience.
• Fluent English or at least intermediate proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead foundation and soft foot checks and adjustments.
• Lead assembly, installation and alignment of equipment.
• Lead independent inspection of equipment.
• Maintain business relationships with customers and BH.
• Drive safety, on-time delivery, productivity, quality and cost.
