EPAM Systems Inc seeks a Lead Data Integration Engineer to guide complex, large-scale data systems and align hands-on work with strategic planning. You will review pipelines, architectures, and source code, producing insights and estimates while collaborating with global teams.

The role focuses on modern data stack technologies such as AWS Glue, Snowflake and dbt, and requires leadership of a data integration practice with strong Python and SQL skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in Data Integration with hands-on experience.
• Experience leading and managing teams for data projects.
• Strong ETL/ELT, data warehousing and cloud-native techniques.
• Proficiency with AWS/Glu e, Snowflake, dbt and modern data stack.
• Python for developing data integration solutions; SQL for data manipulation.
• Fluent English communication at B2 level or higher.

Responsibilities

• Analyze current ingestion and transformation pipelines for structure and performance.
• Review architecture docs and source code; support efficient code analysis.
• Produce clear analysis results and complexity assessments for planning.
• Collaborate with discovery team on design and effort estimation.
• Lead and mentor team; guide target-state implementation.
