Job summary

Fluor in Argentina is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support construction engineering on large, multi-discipline projects. You will ensure substation and line construction meets design specifications and quality standards, coordinating with design engineers and project teams.

You will apply technical knowledge to solve construction challenges, maintain rigorous documentation, and drive the project quality program in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineer degree and 10 years of work-related experience in substation and line construction.
• HV experience in at least 2 mining projects.
• Knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines.
• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner.

Responsibilities

• Provide construction engineering and technical support for a specific discipline on large stand-alone projects.
• Assist craftsmen, foremen, and project supervision with regard to construction-related issues identified on drawings.
• Provide technical interpretation of design documents for project managers and contractors.
• Establish and maintain effective communication between the company and the design engineer to ensure timely flow of design documents.
• Coordinate the preparation and implementation of the project quality program and report status to project management.
• Other duties as assigned.
