EPAM Systems is seeking a Lead Cloud Engineer with strong AWS expertise to join our team in Argentina. The role focuses on cost optimization, dashboards, and governance to improve cloud ROI across large-scale AWS environments.

The ideal candidate has extensive AWS experience, leadership skills, and a knack for turning data into actionable insights. You will collaborate with global teams to drive cost efficiency and implement scalable cost-management practices.

Formación

• At least 5 years of professional AWS cloud infra experience with cost reporting and optimization.
• Minimum 1 year in a leadership or team management role.
• Experience with AWS EKS and containerization tools.
• Proficiency with cost management tools: AWS Cost Explorer, CUR, AWS Budgets, CloudHealth.
• Familiar with GitHub, Jenkins, and Terraform for CI/CD and infra provisioning.
• Proven track record building dashboards and reports for engineering teams.
• Excellent written and spoken English

Responsabilidades

• Identify optimization opportunities to boost ROI and cost efficiency.
• Develop understanding of product architecture and cloud-related costs.
• Guide architects on resource optimization and KPI shaping.
• Track expenditures to catch spikes and unusual usage.
• Monitor reservations and savings plans usage and reallocate capacity.
• Create dashboards, reports, and automated tools for cost tracking and forecasting.
• Set up governance for cost optimization policies and best practices.
• Communicate KPIs and savings opportunities to stakeholders.
• Coordinate with engineering to validate cost-saving measures
