A leading financial and analytics firm is seeking a Latin American Sales Specialist to drive business and renewals across the region. This role will involve upselling solutions tailored to the needs of government, financial, and corporate clients. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of sales experience, fluency in Spanish, English, and Portuguese, and a demonstrated ability to manage complex negotiations. Formación

  • At least 3 years of sales experience in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.

Latin American Sales Specialist – S&P Global Market Intelligence

Join S&P Global Market Intelligence, a division of S&P Global, and play a pivotal role in driving new business and renewals across the Latin American market. This position focuses on delivering solutions that meet the unique needs of government, financial, and corporate clients within the Global Intelligence and Analytics portfolio.

Responsibilities and Impact
  • Renew and upsell Global Intelligence and Analytics (GIA) assets to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Clearly articulate the value proposition and ROI of GIA assets to prospects and existing clients.
  • Sell solutions, not just products, by identifying and addressing customer pain points.
  • Collaborate with Solution Engineering and Marketing teams to uncover new business and white‑space opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver in‑person presentations to senior audiences, including VPs and C‑level decision makers.
  • Qualify new business opportunities and prioritize high‑value prospects.
  • Identify revenue drivers and metrics to increase account volume, profit and penetration.
  • Understand the sales cycle, competitor tactics, and refine strategies accordingly.
  • Prepare proposals, contracts, trial agreements, NDAs and other documentation as required.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships, handling billing and contractual inquiries.
  • Travel regularly within the defined territory to meet sales objectives.
  • Maintain complete CRM discipline, updating all deals for accurate forecasting and visibility.
  • Provide internal communication and reporting, delivering client feedback to Sales and Product Management.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least 3 years of sales experience.
  • Demonstrated success closing large, complex, multi‑stakeholder sales with challenging negotiations.
  • First language Spanish speaker, fluent in English and Portuguese.
  • Experience in the Latin American market and knowledge of government, financial and corporate sectors.
