Job summary

Cargill LATAM is seeking a Senior Consultant, Tax Content Architect to focus on tax technology implementations, governance and enhancements of tax elements in ERP and improvements of tax processes within the LATAM region. With limited supervision, this role develops tax solutions and advice on tax requirements in ERP systems.

You will collaborate closely with the tax and IT teams and regional experts. Based in Rosario, Argentina, you will work with teams across LATAM to ensure compliant tax

Qualifications

• Minimum requirement of 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Fluent English language skills - written and verbal
• Strong analytical skills to embed tax requirements in ERP systems or applications.
• Good understanding of tax reporting requirements as well as the basic understanding of statutory requirements and configuration in current technologies.
• Basic understanding of tax functionality in enterprise resource planning systems
• Experience within or good understanding of an international tax/finance environment.

Responsibilities

• TAX SOLUTIONS: Support the tax technology implementations (ERP and applications), including the gathering of local tax requirements with country or regional tax experts, assisting on the initial design process, performing analysis, testing and assisting on the creation of trainings following a go live.
• TAX ERP ANALYSIS: Support with building and the maintenance of tax requirements in ERP systems and tax dedicated applications, following a standard tax methodology to gather and meet tax requirements.
• TAX ARCHITECTURE: Assure that the tax requirements are designed, documented and implemented in a consistent manner across all areas within tax using the Tax Methodology, including assisting with the controls in the ERP space, such as the monitoring of tax logic in ERP.
• TAX LIASON: Collaborate with other tax content architects and tax managers to come to a joined solution.
