A leading consulting firm in Buenos Aires is seeking a highly motivated Manager for their Legal Managed Services team. The role involves overseeing contracting processes, managing legal service delivery, and leading a team of professionals. You will be responsible for strategic decision-making and ensuring compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Law and 5-7 years of experience in legal operations, preferably in a multinational setting. Fluency in English is required.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager for our Legal Managed Services, Contracts team. In this role, you will take full ownership of managing legal service delivery, overseeing contracting processes, compliance monitoring, and the broader strategic direction of the team. You will collaborate with KPMG Law teams in other KPMG member firms for joint delivery of contracting services via full integration and a cohesive approach to project delivery. You will lead a team of Assistant Managers, legal professionals, and paralegals, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and client expectations. You will also be responsible for high-level decision-making, continuous process improvement, and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities

Operational:

  • Manage contract lifecycle, including drafting, negotiation, and post-signature monitoring
  • Oversee regulatory compliance and ensure adherence to relevant regulations
  • Champion the integration of AI tools and CLM software for contract optimization
Leadership
  • Lead and inspire a team of legal professionals to deliver high-quality work
  • Set performance benchmarks, monitor KP, and provide feedback
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements
Organizational
  • Develop and implement strategies that align with the organization's legal and compliance objectives
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to enhance legal service offerings
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior management
  • Ensure all deliverables meet internal and external regulatory and quality standards
  • Track, report, and present team metrics to senior management
Experience & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Law
  • 5-7 years of experience in legal operations or a related field
  • Experience of working in a large multinational or Big 4 accounting firm, preferred
  • Good understanding of contract lifecycle management and regulatory compliance, with knowledge of European and international regulations
  • Proven experience in leading teams and managing priority projects
  • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Expertise in leveraging AI tools and CLM software for enhanced legal service delivery
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Fluency in English (C1 level minimum, written and spoken, or equivalent)
  • Ability to think and work across different legal jurisdictions
