Job summary

Digital Silk - Growing Brands Online is seeking a Junior Digital Strategist to assist the digital strategy team with research, content planning, and website strategy while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-growing agency.

You will help upload content in WordPress, review pages, coordinate with design and development, and apply SEO basics, with a clear path for growth and remote collaboration across time zones.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in a digital agency, web or marketing role (internships and freelance count).
• Contributed to at least one website project from planning to launch.
• Working knowledge of WordPress and basic on-page SEO (metadata, headings, internal links, image optimization).
• Strong written English with the ability to draft clear headlines and short web copy.
• Comfortable with Figma and keyword research tools, or able to learn them quickly.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools for research and drafting, with good judgment about checking their output.
• Organized, proactive and able to keep multiple tasks and deadlines moving across a team.
• Available to work 8am-5pm EST with breaks.

Responsibilities

• Support website projects from planning through launch, including research, competitor analysis, keyword research, sitemaps, content planning and basic user journeys.
• Create and update wireframes in Figma with guidance from senior strategists, and draft clear headlines, calls to action and short web copy based on client goals, brand direction and SEO research.
• Upload and format pages, blog posts and media in WordPress, applying on-page SEO best practices including metadata, headings, internal links and image optimization.
• Review designs and developed pages against approved wireframes and requirements, check content and basic SEO implementation, test links and forms, and flag issues for designers and developers before launch.
• Use AI and research tools to support research, content drafting and day-to-day tasks, verify outputs for accuracy, and keep assigned tasks, feedback and deadlines moving across strategy, design and development teams

• Support to deliver research, sitemaps, content planning and website strategy
• Upload and format blog articles, pages, and other content in the CMS
• Coordinate with teams, review design and developed pages and support pre-launch QA
