Tarmac.IO is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations, providing hands-on experience in bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

In this role you will process accounts payable and receivable, assist with month-end close, maintain the general ledger, and help prepare journal entries and financial statements while applying GAAP and developing strong organizational and teamwork skills.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 0–2 years of accounting experience (internships welcome).
• Working knowledge of GAAP (or relevant accounting standards).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or NetSuite is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Perform monthly bank and account reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Maintain and update the general ledger.
• Prepare journal entries and supporting documentation.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and reports.
• Support budget preparation and variance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with tax filings and audits as needed.
• Maintain organized financial records and documentation.
