Mondelēz International's Manufacturing Leader in Argentina leads production operations at the Pacheco plant, delivering key SQCDSM targets in safety, quality, productivity, volumes, cost and sustainability while implementing the manufacturing strategy.

The role drives safety, quality, cost, delivery and engagement, while building a high-performing organization and fostering a zero-loss culture through IL6S/TPM, Lean and 5S methodologies.

Formación

  • University degree in Industrial Engineering, Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience leading manufacturing teams in a high-volume environment.
  • Knowledge of TPM, Lean Manufacturing and 5S methodologies.

  • Manages change/ transformation change/ transformation amongst the Operating teams in theimplementation of IL6S-Integrated Lean 6 sigma phase journey,FoF-Factory of Future Line centric organization & roles(AM-Autonomous Maintenance, PM-Progressive Maintenance and an integrated 6 star model within operating Lineteams) to progress into Self sufficient teams.Role models Values and principles through effective coaching, mentoringand development of the team.
  • Support the Manufacturing annual operational plans and targets to meet Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Sustainability,Engagement goals in line with the site Compelling business need. coach Line Leaders, cascade & communicate theplans and targets to employees to ensure alignment and understanding around priorities, focus and KPI’s.
  • Lead and be Accountable to establish a strong Governance to Review, Control Operational performance andContinuous Improvement plan and embed a zero loss mindset to constantly improve and deliver against best in classboth internally and externally. Drive the Operating team to identify and manage improvements to technology, culture,capability and operating systems to deliver a best practice and reliable operation.
  • Support all Manufacturing standards, Governance, Compliance requirements (e.g. CorporateQuality, Food safety & GMP, Health, Safety, Security, Environment, Sustainability, Code of conduct, Policies &principles, Operational standards, Local legal requirements, Internal Audit norms, & other procedures updated fromtime to time) are in place, understood by all, and is regularly reviewed and monitored for effective implementation.
  • Lead and be Accountable for Talent, Capabilities & Engagement for the Manufacturing team - identify andimplement critical levers to attract, retain & develop critical talent and builds capability at all levels, technical andbehavioral, to build a sustainable workforce profile for the future. Partner effectively with all multi-functional peersinternally & externally (outside the plant)to achieve objectives, goals and KPI’s.

The Manufacturing Leader is a key role in our organization, responsible for managing and supervising production operations on the assigned line and shift at the Pacheco plant.

Their mission is to ensure that production is carried out safely, in compliance with Mondelēz quality standards, current legal regulations, and environmental commitments, while simultaneously guaranteeing adherence to the production plan.

This role leads, develops, and motivates their team, promoting a zero-loss culture through the management of key indicators (KAIs and KPIs) within the continuous improvement system. They are a benchmark for operational leadership, focused on efficiency, talent development, and sustained performance improvement.

This role represents a key opportunity to lead from the shop floor, generating real impact on business results, in line with Mondelēz's values of growth, sustainability, and empowerment.

Key Responsibilities

a. Production Management

  • Plan, organize, and supervise shift production activities, ensuring compliance with the daily/weekly production plan.
  • Ensure adherence to quality, safety, environmental, and operational efficiency standards, meeting committed delivery timelines.
  • Analyze shift performance and previous shifts' results, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and implementing effective action plans to eliminate losses, prevent recurrences, and sustain improvements.
  • Manage, train, and develop the team of operators, promoting their autonomy and skills within the IL6S (TPM) methodology framework and the Continuous Improvement system.
  • Foster a safe, collaborative work environment oriented toward respect and operational excellence.
  • Drive a zero-loss mindset, using tools such as visual management, problem-solving, and situational leadership to strengthen team engagement and active participation.

c. Quality & Safety

  • Ensure compliance with Mondelēz safety policies and procedures.
  • Guarantee that products meet company quality standards and applicable regulations.
  • Analyze root causes of quality and safety deviations, and lead action plans for correction and prevention.
  • Identify and implement performance improvement opportunities in processes and equipment.
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement projects, collaborating with other areas.
  • Analyze production data to identify trends, prioritize losses, and define corrective actions.
  • Ensure the implementation and sustainment of 5S in the area under their responsibility.
  • Drive the implementation and maintenance of the IL6S (TPM) system in their assigned sector.

e. Reporting

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.
  • Generate management reports for tracking key indicators.
  • Analyze data through available systems to support decision-making.
Position Requirements

Education:

University degree in Industrial Engineering, Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. Graduated or near graduation.

Experience:

Minimum 2 years of experience leading teams in manufacturing environments, preferably in the food industry or similar.

Technical & Management Skills:

  • Knowledge of food production processes.
  • Ability to lead, energize, and motivate work teams.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to negotiate with various stakeholders, especially union representatives.
  • Knowledge of TPM, Lean Manufacturing, and 5S methodologies.
  • Proficiency in production management systems (ERP, MES).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and data analysis tools (Power BI desirable).

Languages:

Work Schedule: 02.00 PM to 10:00 pm, 100% on-site.
