Formación

About the Opportunity

The Avaya R&D team is looking for a Sr Module lead/technical lead to analyze product requirements specification, design the features according to the specification and deliver the quality code. The team is looking for a strong and customer focused engineer with extensive development, debugging and troubleshooting skills as well as should have ability to technically guide the team. The person should be able to contribute to product and solution design.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements specifications, design, and produce clean, efficient code according to the specifications
• Troubleshoot, debug, upgrade, and fix issues in existing software
• Work with developers for designing features, code reviews and to deal with technical challenges
• Gather and evaluate user feedback
• Recommend and execute improvements
• Create technical documentation for reference and reporting

Requirements

• Experience: Overall, 8-15 years of experience; 3-5 years of experience in implementation of Management Solutions (Configuration & MACDs) for UC and/or CC Solutions (Avaya, Cisco, Microsoft, Broadsoft, Mitel, Genesys, etc.)
• Skills & Competencies:
  • Java/J2EE, Springboot, Microservices, RESTful web services/APIs development, React JS (Optional)
  • Hands on experience in major cloud providers (Azure, GCP, AWS)
  • Expertise in container and clustering technologies like Kubernetes, Docker
  • Good understanding of Kafka or any other messaging bus
  • DevOps knowledge is an added advantage
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, requirement analysis and converting them to user stories, planning and tracking sprint and release contents
  • Ability to technically guide team and do code reviews for the team
  • Ability to learn new languages and technologies
  • Good communication skills
  • Resourcefulness and troubleshooting aptitude
