Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Software Engineer II to join the Corporate Investment Banking software team. You will design, develop, and troubleshoot secure code, collaborating within an agile environment to deliver scalable software components.

You will work across the SDLC with modern languages and databases, emphasizing reliability, security, and performance in a large corporate setting. A strong focus on CI/CD and cloud-related practices is expected.

Qualifications

• +5 years of hands-on Java/SpringBoot/Microservices experience.
• Experience across the Software Development Life Cycle and modern databases.
• Familiar with CI/CD, security, and cloud concepts.

Responsibilities

• Executes standard software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting.
• Writes secure and high-quality code using the syntax of at least one programming language with limited guidance.
• Designs, develops, codes, and troubleshoots with consideration of upstream and downstream systems and technical implications.
• Applies knowledge of SDLC tools to improve automation and value.
• Undertakes technical troubleshooting to resolve delivery issues of basic complexity.
• Gathers and analyzes large data sets to inform decisions and improve stability.
• Learns and applies processes and skills for secure, stable code and systems.
