Chevron Corporation in Buenos Aires is seeking a Java Developer to deliver SAP Hybris-based e-commerce solutions for B2B and B2C portals, participating in an agile DevOps team. The role focuses on design, development, deployment, and support across Chevron's global platforms.

The ideal candidate will have strong Java/JavaScript skills and hands-on experience with SAP Commerce Cloud, Azure services, and modern web technologies, while embracing continuous learning and collaboration.

Formación

• Has in-depth knowledge and experience working on SAP Hybris for B2B and B2C.
• Proficiency in developing and maintaining e-commerce/web platforms.
• SAP Certified Development Professional: SAP Commerce Cloud preferred.
• Strong technical skills in Java, JavaScript, Spring, JSP, HTML5, Angular, React, CSS, SQL/Oracle, SOLR, Azure.
• Knowledge of security/access control, scalability, high availability, concurrency, deployment, upgrade/migration, internationalization, production support and other SaaS enterprise software issues.
• Understanding of customer service center business processes and technologies preferred.
• Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to engage difficulties with persistence.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to communicate with business to understand, gather, and document requirements.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be a self-starter, can adapt to the use of new technology, able to multi-task, and able to work independently.
• Has a keen eye for good architecture and the ability to develop new architecture and frameworks

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop complex software solutions using SAP Hybris and Java in an agile DevOps setting.
• Learn new technologies and modernize applications through re-platforming and automation.
• Troubleshoot incidents, identify root causes, and implement fixes.
• Monitor interfaces, administer security, and ensure performance.
• Collaborate with platform and business to address issues.
• Contribute to architecture and framework development.
