Sovos is seeking an Implementation Consultant I in Argentina to guide new clients through onboarding, owning the full implementation lifecycle from kickoff to go-live. You will translate business needs into technical configurations, document setup details, and provide training and ongoing support post go-live.

The role emphasizes client interaction, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and leveraging AI tools to streamline processes.

Formación

• Experience in a service-related, client-facing role.
• Experience in client-facing implementation, project management, or technical consulting.
• Foundational understanding of tax rules and processes or willingness to learn quickly.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

The Role

At Sovos, we're looking for an Implementation Consultant to guide new clients through their onboarding journey. You'll own the entire implementation lifecycle, from kickoff through handoff, ensuring every project delivers on time with quality and care. This is a client-facing role where your ability to translate business needs into technical solutions will directly shape how successfully clients adopt our platform.

More Specifically, You Will

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the implementation process, building trust and guiding them from kickoff to go-live.


• Develop and manage project plans, proactively identify risks, and resolve issues as they arise to keep implementations on track.


• Complete configuration tasks and document all setup details thoroughly to ensure a smooth handoff to Client Support or Compliance Services teams.


• Lead collaborative work sessions with clients to understand their business logic and translate requirements into technical specifications and configurations.


• Provide training and support to clients as needed, including continued assistance during peak processing times after go-live.


• Leverage AI tools and other technology to streamline workflows, improve documentation quality, and enhance the client onboarding experience.


• Identify and recommend process improvements to benefit the implementation team and clients alike.

What You Bring to Sovos

• You have experience in a service-related, client-facing role where you balanced multiple priorities and delivered quality outcomes.


• Relevant experience in client-facing implementation, project management, or technical consulting.


• You have a foundational understanding of tax rules and processes in the relevant product market, or you're ready to learn quickly.


• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively across multiple concurrent projects.


• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences.


• Comfort with AI-assisted workflows and technology platforms to support configuration, documentation, and problem-solving.


• Due to client contractual obligations, the successful candidate will be asked to clear a background check upon hire.
