Political Asylum Lawyers, a Houston-based immigration law firm, seeks a paralegal to support asylum cases, developing statements, gathering evidence, drafting briefs, and researching country conditions. You will communicate with clients daily in English and Spanish and work closely with attorneys to move cases forward and ensure an excellent client experience.

Formación

• Fluent in Spanish and able to communicate clearly in English.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience as a paralegal in an immigration law firm is a plus but not required; willingness to learn U.S. asylum procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Develop statements to be used in cases.
• Advise on evidence gathering for asylum petitions.
• Draft portions of legal briefs and conduct country conditions research.
• Serve as a client liaison, communicating daily in English and Spanish.
• Support attorneys in case preparation and filing with immigration agencies.
• Handle administrative tasks and deadline management.
