Ampstek is seeking a Senior Cloud Architect to design and deploy scalable, secure infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform. You will lead IaC, DevOps, and CI/CD initiatives in a professional services setting.

Fluency in English and Portuguese or Spanish is required to engage with local stakeholders. Strong communication, project management, and collaboration skills are essential for enterprise cloud programs and migrations. Experience with data center exit and AI-assisted automation is a plus.

Formación

• 6 years of experience architecting and deploying scalable, secure infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience in Professional Services or Technical Consulting with strong PM and collaboration skills.
• Proficient in one or more general purpose languages (Python, Java, Go, C, or C++).
• Able to communicate in English and Portuguese or Spanish with stakeholders.

Job Description:

• 6 years of experience architecting and deploying scalable, secure infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including expertise with IaC (Infrastructure as Code), DevOps, and CI/CD processes.
• Experience designing and implementing cloud enterprise solutions, including a proven track record in Professional Services or Technical Consulting, and demonstrated project management, communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills.
• Experience coding in one or more general purpose languages (e.g., Python, Java, Go, C, or C++) including data structures, algorithms, and software design.
• Ability to communicate in English and Portuguese or Spanish fluently to engage with local stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Expertise in orchestrating containerized workloads via Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), GCE, GCVE, and GCS.
• Extensive knowledge of IaC for Landing Zones and designing Infrastructure Foundations, including high-availability networking solutions (e.g., VPC, Cloud Firewall, Interconnect, VPN).
• Expertise with Identity and Access Management (IAM), Observability (logging and monitoring), Resource Management, Cost Optimization (FinOps), and standard IT security practices.
• Experience in large Data Center Exit and Public Cloud migration to GCP.
• Expertise in leveraging AI agents to automate, expedite, and de-risk complex infrastructure migrations.
