ExxonMobil in Buenos Aires, Argentina, is seeking a Network Engineer to design, implement, and operate the company’s global network backbone across on‑premises and cloud environments.

You’ll work with engineers and users across regions, strengthen observability, and contribute to automation and continuous improvement of network operations while supporting secure connectivity and high availability.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (must be graduated).
• 2+ years of experience in Network Engineering, Infrastructure, or related roles.
• Experience with enterprise LAN/WAN environments and core networking concepts (routing, switching, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Familiarity with BGP and at least one major network vendor (Cisco/Juniper/Versa).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in Agile environments.
• Good English communication skills (written and spoken).

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and operate network solutions across LAN, WAN, and hybrid environments.
• Ensure network performance, availability, and reliability across global infrastructure.
• Strengthen network monitoring and observability to improve troubleshooting capabilities.
• Support incident investigation, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with teams to support business requirements and network evolution.
• Contribute to automation and continuous improvement of network operations.
• Work with vendors and internal teams to maintain and enhance network infrastructure.
• Support network security practices including firewalls, segmentation, and access control.
