IQVIA in Buenos Aires is seeking a Global Analyst to perform data analysis using Real World Data and clinical data assets for R&D projects. You will work with Therapeutic Analytic Leads and stakeholders to support clinical trial strategies and informed decision-making at multiple levels.

You will apply BI tools and programming skills to drive analytics, country evaluations, and site lists, while coordinating with local teams to promote innovation and knowledge sharing.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, IT, CS, Statistics or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in data analytics, clinical research, or consulting in pharma/healthcare or equivalent advanced degree.
• General knowledge of clinical trial terminology and drug development processes.
• Experience working with global teams is preferred.
• Experience leveraging BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau would be a plus.
• Experience working with large volumes of electronic data (claims, prescriptions, EMR/EHR) would be a plus.

The Global Analyst will inform quality decision making at the indication, program, and study level, with potential for additional opportunities impacting automation and innovation goals.

Job Description Summary

The Global Analyst will inform quality decision making at the indication, program, and study level, with potential for additional opportunities impacting automation and innovation goals.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the IQVIA Connected-intelligence data sets and resources to define and enhance clinical trial strategy, both pre- and post-award
• Communicate with internal stakeholders to align on requirements, capabilities, and delivery of data analytics
• Drive the methodology and implementation of data analytics deliverables, including country evaluation and ranking, competitive landscape assessment, historical recruitment analysis, patient density analytics, and the generation of tiered site lists
• Coordinate the collection of site outreach data to support development of the country/site strategy
• Potential to manage country-specific data assets through collaboration with local teams, promote innovation, and participate in ongoing training and knowledge sharing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences, Information Technology, Computer Science, Statistics or related field
• 2-3 years of experience in data analytics, clinical research, or consulting in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industries or a combination of experience and advanced research degree (Master’s degree, Ph.D., or a Doctor of Pharmacy equivalent)
• General knowledge of clinical trial terminology and drug development processes
• Experience working with global teams is preferred
• Experience leveraging business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau would be a plus
• Experience working with large volumes of electronic data, such as medical claims, sales, prescriptions, electronic medical records/electronic health records, or similar would be a plus

• Proficiency using MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
• Proficiency using Python and SQL is a plus
• Logical approach to problem solving and task prioritization
• Ability to acquire new skills and evolve to new systems
• Excellent communication (verbal and written English)
• Strong attention to detail
