Avenue Code is seeking a Fullstack Engineer to design, build, and evolve internal platforms for a large multi-brand organization. You will work on scalable web applications and backend services in a cross-functional squad, delivering features that improve operational efficiency for thousands of team members across Canada.

Formación

• 3+ years of professional experience in full-stack or backend-focused software development.
• Strong proficiency in C# and .NET / .NET Core.
• Experience developing frontend applications using React, with TypeScript preferred.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational database design, including complex queries and stored procedures.
• Demonstrated experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
• Familiarity with logging, monitoring, and production debugging practices.
• Proficiency with Git in a collaborative development environment.
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum software delivery methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

In this role, you will help design, build, and evolve internal platforms that support day-to-day operations across a large, multi-brand organization. Working as part of a collaborative product squad, you will develop scalable web applications and backend services that improve operational efficiency and enhance the employee experience for thousands of team members across Canada. Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deliver high-quality full-stack software solutions and product features.
• Build and maintain modern web applications and backend services using C#, .NET, React, and TypeScript.
• Develop, integrate, and support RESTful APIs, including integrations with third-party and vendor platforms.
• Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformation logic against relational databases.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of enterprise data integration and ingestion workflows.
• Deploy, configure, and support cloud-based applications and services within Microsoft Azure environments.
• Collaborate closely with developers, QA engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable and reliable solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining high standards for code quality, performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across application, API, and database layers.
• Contribute to logging, monitoring, and operational best practices to support system reliability and performance.
• Create and maintain technical documentation to support knowledge sharing and operational continuity.
• Take ownership of assigned initiatives by managing priorities, communicating progress, and contributing throughout Agile/Scrum sprint cycles.
• Continuously learn and adapt to evolving technologies, tools, and engineering best practices.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in full-stack or backend-focused software development.
• Strong proficiency in C# and .NET / .NET Core.
• Experience developing frontend applications using React, with TypeScript preferred.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational database design, including complex queries and stored procedures.
• Demonstrated experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Solid understanding of data integration patterns, including batch processing and API-driven pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
• Familiarity with logging, monitoring, and production debugging practices.
• Proficiency with Git in a collaborative development environment.
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum software delivery methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Have Skills

• Experience with Azure cloud services and CI/CD pipelines, including Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Experience working with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with authentication and authorization standards such as OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and JWT.
• Exposure to DevSecOps practices and secure application development.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools to improve developer productivity and code quality.
