AgileEngine is seeking a skilled Full Stack Software Engineer to design and scale a platform used by enterprise procurement teams. This role blends frontend and backend ownership across React and Ruby on Rails to turn wireframes into production features.

You will collaborate with product, data science, and design to solve complex problems as part of a growing engineering team. You will participate in an on-call rotation and contribute to building scalable, high-performance applications while

Qualifications

• 3+ years building web applications with Rails, Entity, Spring, or similar MVC frameworks.
• 3+ years using JavaScript/TypeScript to build SPAs with React.
• 3+ years working with SQL databases (PostgreSQL recommended).
• 3+ years HTML/CSS and web styling.
• 3+ years converting wireframes into production features.
• Experience with agile methodologies; adaptable to changing requirements.
• Strong interpersonal skills, strategic mindset, proactive team contributor; leadership is a plus.
• Performance mindset for client/server performance optimization.
• Experience using Git for source control with GitHub.
• Experience in fast-moving environments with on-call rotations and SLAs, SLOs, RPOs, RTOs.
• Upper-intermediate English.

Responsibilities

• Drive innovation and build scalable solutions.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Data Science, and Design to turn wireframes into production features.
• Estimate and commit with Product Management and Staff Tech Leads.
• Implement best practices to optimize development process and efficiency.
• Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders (including senior leadership).
• Participate in an on-call rotation.
