AgileEngine is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to design and scale a platform used by enterprise procurement teams. You will work across React and Ruby on Rails to turn wireframes into production features and collaborate with product, data science, and design to solve complex problems.

This role blends frontend and backend ownership in a fast-paced team, with on-call rotations and opportunities to impact scalability, performance, and user experience across the stack.

Formación

• 3+ years of experience building web applications with Rails, Entity, Spring, or similar MVC frameworks.
• 3+ years of experience using JavaScript and TypeScript to write SPAs with React.
• 3+ years of experience with SQL databases (Postgres, RDS).
• 3+ years of experience using HTML and CSS for web interfaces.
• 3+ years turning wireframes or mockups into functional features.
• Experience with agile development methodologies.
• Strong interpersonal and strategic mindset with proactive teamwork.
• Experience with Git and GitHub.
• Experience in on-call rotations and with SLAs/SLOs/RPOs/RTOs.
• Upper-intermediate English.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to help design and scale a platform used by enterprise procurement teams. This role blends frontend and backend ownership, working across React and Ruby on Rails to turn wireframes into production features. You'll collaborate closely with product, data science, and design to solve complex, ambiguous problems as part of a growing engineering team.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Drive innovation and build scalable solutions.
• Work with Product Management and Staff Tech Leads to estimate and commit.
• Implement best practices, methodologies, and tools to optimize the development process and increase efficiency.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including senior leadership, to provide updates on project status, risks, and issues.
• Participate in an on-call rotation.

MUST HAVES

• 3+ years of experience building web applications using Rails, Entity, Spring, or a similar MVC framework .
• 3+ years of experience using JavaScript and TypeScript to write Single-Page Applications with modern web technologies and frameworks like React .
• 3+ years of experience working with SQL databases , ideally ANSI-compliant relational databases like Postgres and RDS .
• 3+ years of experience using HTML and CSS , and styling various kinds of applications for the web.
• 3+ years of experience taking wireframes or mockups and converting them into clean and functional features.
• Experience with agile development methodologies and willingness to embrace changing requirements.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, a strategic mindset, and a proactive approach to driving team success and achieving organizational goals. Leadership ambitions are a plus.
• A performance mindset that encompasses client-side and server-side performance optimization and techniques.
• Experience using Git for source control with GitHub .
• Experience working in fast-moving environments with on-call rotations and documented SLAs, SLOs, RPOs, and RTOs .
• Upper-intermediate English level.

NICE TO HAVES

• Experience working with large datasets and building scalable frontend architectures that take into consideration HTTP requests, SQL queries, and memory management.
• Experience with Chart.js, Highcharts, D3, or other popular charting libraries.
• Semantic HTML and CSS with a focus on responsive design and performance.
