Plane is seeking a frontend engineer to own user-facing surfaces across the local-first client, including dense views, the collaborative editor, offline and caching layers, and the design system components the rest of the product is built from.

You will work with designers and backend engineers in San Francisco and Hyderabad, ship React and TypeScript to production, and help evolve a shared component library while ensuring performance on large workspaces.

Formación

• Shipped React and TypeScript to production.
• Can reason about state: local vs global and reactivity flow.
• Writes CSS with intent using a system like Tailwind.
• Has worked inside a shared component library.

Responsabilidades

• Own user-facing surfaces from design review through component work to rollout.
• Extend local-first sync and collaborative editing layer with serialization and conflict resolution.
• Keep dense views fast with virtualization and memoization for large workspaces.
• Make Plane usable offline via Service Workers and IndexedDB.
• Collaborate with designers and backend engineers across San Francisco and Hyderabad.
• Review community pull requests and address cross-browser issues.
