Startups Bpo is seeking a freelance Data Scientist with the ability to manage multiple projects part-time, with growth toward a full-time role based on performance. You will design and implement robust models, mentor peers, and communicate complex insights to leadership to influence product and business decisions.

The role requires deep expertise in statistics, ML, and data modeling, plus exposure to modern AI/LLM systems.

Formación

• Expert-level Python with Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn
• Strong foundation in statistics, probability, and linear algebra
• Experience with ML techniques: regression, classification, clustering, time-series, anomaly detection
• Hands-on SQL and relational databases experience
• Experience with large datasets and data pipelines
• Understanding of model evaluation, bias/variance, and monitoring
• Proven track record delivering models to production
• Nice to have experience with LLMs and AI tooling

Responsabilidades

• Lead end-to-end data science projects from problem definition to production
• Build and optimize advanced ML models
• Analyze large-scale structured and unstructured data for insights
• Define DS best practices, modeling standards, and evaluation frameworks
• Design and analyze experiments (A/B tests, causal analysis)
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and leadership to shape strategy
• Review and improve models for accuracy, scalability, robustness
• Mentor junior data scientists and review work
• Communicate findings to senior stakeholders
• Ensure data quality, reproducibility, and documentation across projects
