Serves as the primary local financial steward and strategic advisor to the General Manager, integrating local operations with centralized Corporate Accounting, Tax, and Treasury teams during a critical period of operational transition and business transformation.
Responsibilities
- Financial Governance: Act as the local integrator between site leadership and centralized finance functions, ensuring legal entity compliance and operational control.
- Financial Reporting & Transition Accounting: Oversee local financial closes, external audits, and transition-related accounting (including restructuring provisions, asset realignments, and transition costs).
- Treasury, Cash & Tax Advisory: Collaborate with Corporate Treasury on FX risk management, cash flow forecasting, working capital, and local statutory tax compliance.
- Strategic Business Partnership: Advise local leadership on cost management, financial discipline, and corporate-to-local strategy translation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience in multinational manufacturing/industrial companies.
- Proven track record of influencing cross-functional decisions without direct authority in a matrix structure.
- Hands-on experience with USD functional currency, FX/inflation management, and corporate restructurings or operational transformations.
- Fluent in English and Spanish
- Advanced ERP capabilities (SAP preferred).
