Job summary

Chevron seeks a Senior Engineer to design, manage and optimize chemical treatment and corrosion control in Neuquén, Argentina. You will lead monitoring, reporting, and field-related activities to improve OE, safety and cost performance at El Trapial Field.

The role requires 5+ years in chemical treatment, data interpretation and an intermediate English level. The position follows a 7x7 rotation with Chevron Camp accommodations provided. Expatriate sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering required.
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in chemical treatment and corrosion control.
• Experience interpreting monitoring data and adjusting strategies.
• English: intermediate level required; advanced preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, manage, and implement chemical treatment and corrosion strategies.
• Monitor, inspect, and report on corrosion control activities.
• Provide SME guidance for water, oil, and gas treatment facilities.
• Supervise contractor performance during field visits and coordination with O&M.
• Lead OE execution with emphasis on process safety and HSE standards.
• Forecast and track operating costs for chemical products and storage.
• Propose long-term optimization to reduce total treatment costs.
• Identify, evaluate, and propose new technologies.
• Prepare and deliver technical reports and recommendations.
