Job summary

Chevron seeks a Chemical Specialist in Neuquén, Argentina, for a full-time, 7x7 rotational position based in the El Trapial Field. The role focuses on developing, implementing, and optimizing chemical treatment and corrosion control programs to support safe and efficient operations.

You will collaborate with Operations, Laboratories, and service providers to monitor effectiveness, lead cost-reduction initiatives, and ensure compliance with process safety and HSE standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in chemical treatment and corrosion control strategies.
• Intermediate level of English.

Responsibilities

• Design, manage, and implement chemical treatment and corrosion control strategies.
• Provide technical assessment and interpretation of chemical treatment monitoring data and recommend changes to corrosion control strategies.
• Lead OE execution in the field with a focus on safety and compliance with HSE standards.
• Prepare forecasts and track operating costs and facility improvements related to chemical products.
