Chevron Corporation in Argentina seeks a Chemical Specialist to develop, implement, and optimize chemical treatment and corrosion control programs that support safe, reliable, and efficient operations. This role provides technical expertise in production chemistry, corrosion management, facility treatment systems, and process optimization in the El Trapial Field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in chemical treatment and corrosion control strategies.
• Experience assessing and interpreting chemical treatment monitoring data and recommending changes to corrosion control strategies.
• Intermediate level of English.

Responsabilités

• Design, manage, and implement chemical treatment and corrosion control strategies and monitoring activities.
• Provide technical assessment and interpretation of monitoring data and recommend changes to analyses and programs.
• Serve as SME for water, oil, and gas treatment facilities to improve OE, production, and cost performance.
• Follow up on contractor performance through field visits and interactions with O&M, Laboratory, and service provider personnel.
• Lead OE execution in the field with a strong focus on safety and HSE standards.
• Prepare forecasts and track operating costs and facility improvements related to chemical products.
