Chevron is seeking a Chemical Specialist for the El Trapial Field in Neuquén, Argentina. The role focuses on developing, implementing, and optimizing chemical treatment and corrosion control programs to support safe, reliable operations.

You will work with Operations, Laboratories and service providers to improve performance, reduce costs, and ensure adherence to safety standards. The position involves travel to field sites and a 7x7 rotation schedule while staying at Chevron Camp during

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in chemical treatment and corrosion control strategies, including monitoring, inspection, and implementation activities.
• Experience assessing and interpreting chemical treatment monitoring data and recommending changes to corrosion control strategies.
• Intermediate level of English.

Responsabilités

• Design and manage chemical treatment and corrosion control strategies and report on trends.
• Interpret monitoring data and adjust corrosion control plans.
• Lead OE execution with safety and process safety standards.
• Coordinate with O&M, Laboratory, and service providers.
• Forecast operating costs and track field improvements.
• Identify and evaluate new technologies.
