Job summary

Evolution is seeking a Facilities Technician for an on-site role in Moreno. The technician will maintain, repair, and oversee the upkeep of the facility, ensuring systems run smoothly and safely.

The job involves guiding technicians and subcontractors, handling minor electrical and plumbing tasks, and coordinating with PSD teams as needed. The role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently and with a team.

Qualifications

• Secondary education completed.
• Proficiency with MS Office.
• 2+ years in building systems maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Good problem-solving and responsibility.
• Basic English is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing maintenance and support of the building and fix minor defects.
• Supervise specialists and subcontractors working on plant and facility technical systems.
• Monitor and maintain lighting in all assigned facilities.
• Perform minor plumbing repairs as necessary.
• Perform basic electrical work and determine when an electrician is required.
• Repair doors, windows and other hardware.
• Assemble, dismantle, install and repair furniture as required.
• Provide or organize out of office hours support to the building systems per SLAs.
• Assist PSD teams in maintenance-related tasks as required.

Facilities Technician (on site MORENO)

Descripción Del Trabajo

The Facilities Technician role will be focus on mantaining, reparing and the overall upkeep of the facilitiy.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing maintenance and support of the company's building and fix minor defects
• Supervise and escort specialists and sub-contractors working on plant and facility technical systems
• Monitor and maintain lighting in all assigned facilities as needed
• Perform minor plumbing repairs as necessary
• Perform basic electrical work and determine when an electrician is required
• Perform basic cosmetic repairs, such as plastering and painting works.
• Repair building’s hardware equipment, such as doors, windows etc
• Assemble, Dismantle, install and repair furniture when required
• Transport goods or equipment as requested by OOM
• Provide or organize out of office hours support to the building systems according to company`s SLAs
• Perform other maintenance duties as assigned by OOM and Facilities Manager which are related to this position.
• Assist and support PSD teams in maintenance related tasks as required.

Qualification Requirements and Competencies

• Secondary (higher, special etc.) education.
• Be computer literate and knowledge in MS office software
• At least 2 years’ experience in building systems maintenance and troubleshooting
• High sense of responsibility
• Strong problem-solving skills
• The ability to work on his own initiative and within a team
• Basic English communication skills considered a plus.
