Job summary

Bechtel is seeking an Environmental Permitting Manager for a project in Argentina. You will manage environmental approvals, ensure compliance with national and provincial regulations, and translate regulatory requirements into actionable design criteria.

You will coordinate with engineering teams, consultants, and authorities to maintain a clear permit path, monitor regulatory changes, and safeguard project schedules while maintaining high technical quality of documentation.

Qualifications

• Verifiable participation in at least one complete cycle of environmental processing: study prep, submission, response to observations and obtaining approving resolution.
• Experience interacting with provincial and national public agencies and supervising environmental consultants.
• Experience in EPC/EPCM environments; familiarity with document/control management and interfaces between disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Manage the obtaining, maintenance and monitoring of environmental permits to enable project execution in Argentina.
• Translate legal requirements into verifiable design criteria and align with project schedule.
• Maintain dialogue with authorities and support citizen participation and communities.
