Qualifications

• University degree in Environmental Sciences, Chemistry, Civil Engineering, Natural Resources, Geological Sciences or Biological Sciences.
• Professional registration in the corresponding jurisdiction.
• 5–8 years of environmental management and permits experience (Level 1) with at least 3 years in mining, energy or infrastructure projects in Argentina.
• 8–10 years of environmental management and permits experience (Level 2) with at least 5 years in mining, energy or infrastructure projects in Argentina.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and maintain the project permits matrix with deadlines and submission requirements.
• Prepare, review and submit Environmental Impact Reports and biennial updates with required documentation.
• Manage sectoral permits: water use, effluent, emissions, hazardous waste, soil movement, native vegetation, hazardous transport.
• Maintain dialogue with provincial and national authorities, respond to observations and audits.
• Alert on critical permits and propose sequencing alternatives to protect schedule.
• Define scope of environmental baselines (air, noise, water, soils, flora/fauna) and supervise consultants.
• Review deliverables for methodological sufficiency and data traceability.
• Evaluate environmental impacts and propose mitigation measures.
• Estimate hours, costs and deadlines for environmental studies for budget.

Formation

University degree in Environmental Sciences, Chemistry, Civil Engineering, Natural Resources, Geological Sciences or Biological Sciences
