Assurant Services Argentina, S.A. is seeking a Staff Data Engineer to design and implement scalable data pipelines within our data platform.

You will work under the Data Services group, building reservoirs for large datasets, supporting ML workflows, and delivering production-ready data solutions that meet customer requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Build massive reservoirs for big data to support ML and statistical models.
• Assist with PoCs to test theories proposed by senior engineers.
• Understand requirements and align work with customer expectations.
• Follow established guidelines, standards, and naming conventions.
• Ingest, process, and store massive data.
• Optimize performance of big-data ecosystems.
• Wrangle data to support data science projects.
• Productionize ML and statistical models for data scientists.
• Develop scalable data solutions for structured and unstructured data.
• Apply established processes in day-to-day work.

Descripción del empleo

Staff Data Engineer reports to the Manager of Data Services and is responsible for developing Data Engineering solutions within established guidelines and standards.

Responsibilities

• Build massive reservoirs for big data to support machine learning and statistical models for Data Scientists & Statisticians.
• Assist with research and building proof of concepts to test theories recommended by Senior and Lead Data Engineers.
• Gain a thorough understanding of requirements and ensure work product aligns with customer expectations.
• Work within established development guidelines, standards, methodologies, and naming conventions.
• Build processes to ingest, process, and store massive amounts of data.
• Assist in optimizing performance of big‑data ecosystems.
• Wrangle data to support data science projects.
• Perform productionization of machine learning and statistical models for Data Scientists & Statisticians.
• Develop, construct, test, and maintain scalable data solutions for structured and unstructured data to support reporting, analytics, ML, and AI.
• Apply a wide variety of established processes or methods in day‑to‑day work.
