Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving history.
• Previous chauffeur experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides high level of quality valet service.
• Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards.
• Drives passenger vehicles to airports, hotels, restaurants, and points of interest in local and south Arkansas area.
• Adheres to all traffic laws and safety regulation.
• Stocks vehicle with supplies before trip as needed.
• Maintains a clean and neat appearance with good communication skills.
• Able to drive any vehicle on property and fill in during peak times or when necessary with shuttle vehicles if there are no scheduled trips.
• Monitors parking lot and exterior areas and reports unsafe or suspicious activity to Guest Safety Services.
• Provides jump starts and tire inflation to guests and cast member vehicles as needed.
• Follows established procedures and policies of the Oaklawn Racing Casino Resort.

We are currently seeking a talented individual to become a Driver. An individual could be successful if they possess the following.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provides high level of quality service standards in Valet department on applicable shift.
• Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.
• Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.
• Provides impeccable guest service to all guests
• Drives passenger vehicles to airports, hotels, restaurants, and points of interest in local and south Arkansas area.
• Adheres to all traffic laws and safety regulation.
• Stocks vehicle with supplies before trip as needed.
• Ensures that all vehicle's equipment is working properly.
• Maintains a clean and neat appearance with good communication skills.
• Able to drive any vehicle on property and fill in during peak times or when necessary with shuttle vehicles if there are no scheduled trips.
• Monitors parking lot and exterior areas and reports unsafe or suspicious activity to Guest Safety Services.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous professional chauffeur experience preferred.
• Must be able to perform the physical job duties of all Driver team members.
• Must have the ability to operate a manual and automatic transmission automobile.
• Must be able to work outdoors subject to varying temperatures and conditions.
• Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

• Employee must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and have acceptable driving history as determined by Oaklawn Jockey Club.
